The 2025 COPE Galway Christmas Swim brought together over 1,000 swimmers and dippers on a bright and sunny Christmas Day.
Through registering, fundraising, donating and purchasing hoodies and t-shirts, an incredible €40,928 was raised for COPE Galway.These funds will help provide essential homeless, domestic abuse and senior services throughout 2026.

Did you know that the iconic Blackrock Diving Tower in Salthill was constructed by James Stewart & Co. in 1954. James started his construction company in Lower Salthill back in 1902. Four generations later, the Stewart family still operate their head office from the same Salthill location.
