Why we’re taking the leap!
We’re four work friends — Saoirse, Lucie, Niamh, and Ross — and we’ve decided to swap the comfort of the office for the side of Bonham Quay and take on the COPE Galway Abseil! We will be abseiling down the Bonham Quay office block on June 10th.
We’re doing this to support the incredible work COPE Galway does for people across our community who are facing homelessness, domestic abuse, and the challenges that can come with ageing. Every day, COPE Galway provides safe accommodation, meals, support services, and a lifeline to people who need it most.
Like most people, we’ve all walked past or heard about the amazing work COPE does in Galway, and this felt like a brilliant way for the four of us to challenge ourselves while raising money for a cause that genuinely makes a difference locally.
Every euro donated will go directly towards helping individuals and families across Galway city and county access the support, care, and dignity they deserve. COPE Galway doesn’t just provide emergency help — they help people rebuild their lives and move forward with independence and hope.
We’re excited (and slightly terrified!) to take the leap, and we’d be hugely grateful for any support you can give. Thanks so much for helping us make a real difference.
