A Christmas Jumper Day is an easy and festive fundraiser that is perfect for schools, teams and corporations to raise money for a good cause. Staff and students wear Christmas-themed jumpers to school or work and make a small donation. The amount can be determined by the school.
When is it happening?
COPE Galway’s Christmas Jumper Day is officially taking place on Thursday 11th December. However, you can choose a date that best suits your school/place of work. Students/ Individuals should come to school dressed in their festive outfits.
Where are the funds going?
Christmas is a joyful time for many. It can be a really difficult time for the people COPE Galway supports through our Homeless, Domestic Abuse and Senior Support Services. Your support this Christmas means COPE Galway can provide critical support and relief to families and individuals in Galway when they need it most.
How to raise funds?
You may wish to collect cash donations, just make sure you have a secure place to store the money. COPE Galway’s fundraising team can supply you with a collection bucket for cash donations. Donations can also be made online via the school’s fundraising page which will be generated as part of registration.
